Thanks esylvia!!!

How did you choose your user name?
Well, that's my name My full name is Cuauhcihuatl, I usually go by Cuau which is a lot shorter and easier. My name is nahuatl, and it means eagle woman

What do you think of motherhood so far?
So far, I love it, I'm not going to lie it's being hard, you all know what I'm talking about, but it's by far the best experience ever. Some times I look at my dd and think .. wow I don't think anymore I just cry

How did your dh/dp react when you told him you were preg?

I think my dh was happier than me, not that I wasn't happy, it was just all a schock. We concieved very fast, I thought it was going to take at least two cycles, but nope the first cycle we made it. I was very scared because of school, work, money and all the issues, but after some weeks it got better.

How did you find MDC?
This is a little long. I'm in a mailing list of Women in Science, and one lady sent out a mail about FDA advicing women to eat better because they might get pregnant at some time, and nutrition was really important. Someone else responded and said that they weren't totally happy with FDA, so I emailed this second person and she sent me to MDC.

Could you elaborate on your interest in reptiles?[/COLOR]
Oh yes!! I'm doing my Ph.D. in animal behavior and I work with reptiles. Two years ago I went to Mexico to collect several species
. I also have two bearded dragons a skink and I used to have a chameleon. I think reptiles are awsome! I love their colors, their personalities (mysterious) and their quietness (sp?)

What political/social issues are you passionate about?

Inmigration... (can you tell I'm an inmigrant )
and one of my favorite quotes says
If I feed the hungry
they call me saint
(but) if I ask why
they don't have to eat
they call me comunist
AH! I was just coming here to do this. I'm soooooo sorry it would have been late, but we just discovered some pretty rough information about my son and I've been on the phone with therapists and healers and all sorts...

My questions!

What's your favorite carrier?
What does your daughter's name mean?
Is there anything about motherhood that you didn't expect?
What's the one thing you hope your children learn from you?

Again, I'm soooooo sorry! Please forgive me!

That's a though one, I wasn't expecting much. So I guess I wasn't expecting this little one to be so lovely!! One thing that is really hard and I wasn't expecting tpo be so hard is to leave her at home with the nanny

What's the one thing you hope your children learn from you? <isgh> I don't know it might be easier to say what I don't want her to learn from me. But perhaps I would like her to learn our language, spanish, and my love to my family and country

Oh yes I do!!! But I think I need it, you know, I work too much I need distractions

What is your favorite comfort food?
I like the term, comfort food.
I don't have anything specific, it depends on my mood, sometimes is something sweet sometimes is something salty. If I'm tired I like salty if I'm sad I like sweeet.

I see my self as a mother of 3 or 4, living in my own farm with lots of animals, doing lots of gardening and healthy cooking. I might do a little bit of research at house, perhaps some animal behavior research with the farm animals.
