1) Ok, typical: Where did your screenname come from? My sewing machine: Singer Featherweight 221. I was part of a sewing machine lover e-mail list called the Featherweight Fanatics way before I had dd and used fw221 @ hotmail.com for an e-mail address. I've used the userid ever since.

2) What are you looking forward to doing when the baby arrives? Watching my husband with the baby. I love the way he interacts with dd and I can't wait to see how he does with an infant.

3) Any pets? Two 12 year old dogs, Pete and Shadow.

- What's your favorite childhood memory? I don't know. I had such a fun childhood that it would be too hard to pick a favorite. We camped, we hiked, we skiied, we canoed, we sailed... my parents love the out of doors and we spent a lot time doing things together.

- What's your favorite thing about your DH? The fact that given almost any circumstance, we agree without having to have a conversation about it. We're like one head with two bodies, even though we had very different lives and see things from very different angles.

- Are you more introverted or extroverted? introverted

What has been your most favorite part of this pregnancy?
Knowing it'll be over soon?
I love feeling the baby wiggling around in there and I love watching dh feel the baby move.

What is your biggest complaint?
Swollen feet!

What was the best baby gift you have received so far?
A small, thin quilt received as a thank you for a pattern tracing that I sent another mama.

Do you live near your family of origin?
No. My parents live in Washington State, we're in SoCal & moving to Texas next month.

So what are you doing with the day while the rest of your clan is cavorting about at Disney?

Sleeping! DH would be heartbroken if I went into labor while he's gone, so I'm taking the day to drink lots of water and catch up on sleep.

If you won the lottery tomorrow - what are the first 3 things you would do/buy?

If you could change one thing about your personal appearance - what would it be?

If you could change one non-physical thing about yourself - what would it be?

If you could go back in time and re-live one moment in your life (good or bad - you could also change the outcome) - what would it be?

Uh ... hrm ... I don't know. I don't really need/want anything right now. It'd certainly change our house buying plans, though!

My swollen feet! OK, that'll go away soon after I give birth and so will all the weight I've gained over the last 8 month. Otherwise I'm pretty content in my skin.

I wish I could hurry up & finish working out my PTSD issues from my xh, but there's no way of telling when something will crop up.

If you could go back in time and re-live one moment in your life (good or bad - you could also change the outcome) - what would it be?
Our honeymoon last summer. I'd live that few days over & over again and not change a thing.

How did you come up with your daughter's name? (very pretty, btw!)
Lydia is a family name: My grandfather's sister who lived to be in her 90's. It's unusual, but not weird.
Jo is short for Josephine (my paternal grandmother's middle name) and Joyce (my mom's sister's name).

How did you get into sewing?
I started hand sewing when I was 9, making pillows, blankets & clothes for my Barbies. I started quilting after college and then children's clothing after dd was born. My mom bought me a serger for the christmas after I left my xh (we joke that I've gotten more use out of it than I ever did from him), and things kinda took off from there. I make 99% of dd's clothes and baby boy's clothes & diapers; most of my clothes (but not much maternity); and maybe 50% of dh's. I also sew & sell as part of a congo on Hyena Cart, but am taking a bit of a hiatus until we get settled in in Texas.
