Good ole R&R is what I enjoy in my spare time! Nothing like curling up on the couch watching a sappy movie that I've seen 100 times before <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br><b>Do you like to read? I do like to read, but can't say I have a "favorite" book. The last time I really read for pleasure, I read the Left Behind series.

<b>Beach or pool?</b><br>
Neither! I'm more of a cool weather person. If I had to pick one, I'd pick the pool, though <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br><b>Bagel or muffin?</b><br>
Muffin - preferably blueberry <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yummy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="yummy"><br><br><b>Cat or dog?</b><br>
I think I'm officially converted to being a dog person after having a cat growing up.

A nice red wine. Merlot, anyone? DH and I use to go wine tasting all the time. We toured over 40 Virginia wineries and had the best time enjoying all the scenic routes to some family-owned, out-of-the-way wineries.<br><br>
However, what I'm craving most right now is a margarita, and I WILL be having one in November <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/drink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="drink"><br><br><b>Favorite ice cream flavor?</b><br>
I've never met an ice cream that I didn't like. Recently, I've been on a chocolate chip cookie dough kick, though!

Oh that sounds wonderful!!! I love red wine too.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yummy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="yummy"><br><br>
Would renting a margarita machine for the birth be in poor taste?

Did you ever go to Horton Vineyard? We love their wine, especially their Norton.

Yes, we've been to Horton several times, although we didn't love the Norton. My favorites there are the cabernet franc and the raspberry wine.

Hmmm...interesting idea. I'll be having a c/s and will be on a liquid diet for 24 hours...a margarita certainly qualifies as liquid, right? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="innocent">

I'm having a c-section b/c I have a J-incision on my uterus. My DS's head got stuck after his body was out of the horizontal incision so the OB had to make a vertical incision as well. There are no OBs in my area that I have found who are willing to attend a VBAC with such an incision. And, I thought about it quite a lot and decided that I'm not willing to VBAC outside of a hospital with such an incision. It's a difficult position to be in, but I have little choice. Despite all of this, I'm still very pro-NCB and pro-homebirth <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"> and will live vicariously through all of you who are able to do that <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Wow! What a tough spot to be in. I'm sorry you can't find a dr to support a VBAC but I"m glad you have been able to make a decision that you are comfortable with. And a margarita certainly qualifies as a liquid!!
