I woke up this morning to a small amount of spotting. I am fighting a yeast infection and have been for the last few months so I am using monistat. Last night was the second night. I had a bit more this morning since I've been up, mixed with the monistat. Its not bright red but its not really brown dried blood either. There isn't a ton of it and I would say what I had additionally this morning was rements, not new bleeding. I called my nurse line and the response was since we have had sex in the last 72 hours that is probably what it is from. She told me to watch for other signs and if the spotting doesn't stop to call back. I'm totally freaked out. Do you think it could be from the sex? Or maybe the monistat? I have been watching for contractions and I have had one this morning since 6:00 am, its 9:30 here now. That isn't unusually for me. I have back pain but I have had back pain throughout this pg. I'm trying to determine if it is different but I don't think it is. Dh is out of town until tomorrow, he is freaking out and wants to fly back tonight. I told him to just finish what he is doing and he hopefully will get on an earlier flight tomorrow. Any thoughts, experiences, calming words

. Oh yeah, fetal movement has slowed in the last few days but I can still get 10 kicks in a matter of minutes. The longest I have had to wait is about 30 minutes and once they started I had 10 kicks within minutes. Thanks, Micky

The spotting was pretty much gone after yesterday morning. I probably had about 8 contractions all day. More than I have been but not that many. Last night I felt like I had tightness in my lower tummy, just above my pubic bone so that was concerning me. But it wasn't connected (at least not directly) to contractions. I woke up in the middle of the night and went pee, surprise!

and had some pain after urinating and then the tightening again. I laid there for a while when it occured to me that I may have a bladder infection. I became so certain of it. So this morning after going #1 (sorry for so much info) I wipe just in front and there was a bit of blood. I was actually relieved because I figured then I definitely had a bladder infection. So I went in today to the lab and did a urine test which of course came up negative! There has been just signs of blood, barely spotting today. I feel better and worse today. I have had only 1-2 contractions but the tightness is gone and my back feels great which is a first in a while. But I feel like it does hurt to pee a little and my external areas are itchy/burny. Definitely not like a full blown bladder infection or a full blown yeast infection. So I don't know what the hell is going on. I don't know if I should continue the monistat or not. I didn't use it last night. I only have one night left. I wish now that I had just made an appointment to see the doc rather than just going to the lab for the urine test, but I was so certain it was a bladder infection. I feel like I'm just going to leave the area alone for a few days and see what happens. Maybe it is just irritated from something and needs to be left alone? I don't know, its so annoying. At least I'm not contracting and baby is kicking like crazy, I keep telling myself that. Micky
