So I haven't had any spotting with this pg since the implantation spotting. I've certainly been feeling very pregnant and nauseated for a couple of weeks now.
Last night I had a tiny bit of spotting on the tissue, very light pink. Of course I freaked out and couldn't get back to sleep for an hour, with all kinds of worrying thoughts running through my head. I haven't seen anything this morning, just a little in my underwear from last night. I'm trying not to worry but it's making me nervous. I have my first appt with the CNM on Tuesday and although I wasn't planning to do an u/s, I'm thinking maybe I will. A hb right now would make me feel so much better.

I was told that in the 10wk range is when the placenta makes more of a deeper implant - and therefore can cause a bit of spotting.......

I have had spotting with all of my pregnancies at different stages - with my DD and DS1 I bled off/on for weeks up to the 20's....

If it will make you feel better, go for it.

I've been spotting too and an ultrasound revealed I have a small rupture/tear and a little blood sac that's just slowly bleeding out. Apparently, it's super normal and nothing to be concerned about. Of course, it's scary and annoying, but I'm glad I found it (well, I didn't find it, the u/s tech did, but yeah...).

Well....I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and I woke up this morning to unexplained pinkish spotting. I allowed myself to stay in bed most of the day and so far I haven't seen anything colorful since first waking up. I hate worries like this!

I had brown spotting and a lot of blood with my 1st pregnancy up until late in the 9th week. This time around, a lot of brown spotting but I realized that it happens after sex (though sometimes we have sex and no brown spotting the day after) so I am a bit more relaxed about it. Still, I know how you feel. I don't care how "normal" it is, I still don't want to see any blood while I'm pregnant!

I had spotting starting in the 10th week with ds. It continued on and off throughout the pregnancy. We had a 20wk u/s we weren't initially planning on to check for PP, but it was fine. We never found a reason for the bleeding.

I had pp (placenta previa) that was detected at 8 weeks (ultrasound for dating)....anyways, by my 20 week us, it had lifted.....so it is possible that the poster before me maybe had pp and it lifted by us ? i know I was advised no dtd, so if someone didn't know they had slight pp, and had dtd, I would say that that could cause bleeding.

I get slight cramps every now and then, and freak out...I can't imagine seeing red!!!

Thanks for all the replies. Everything looks good. I haven't had any spotting since that night and no cramping or anything else.

I actually had my first appt with my CNM yesterday and I asked if we could try to find the heartbeat even though I'm only 9 wks. She assured me it was probably too early but......there it was a heartbeat!!
