I will be 21wks pg tomorrow and my baby died at 16w4d. In the past week I have tried angelica, blue and black cohosh as homeopathics and labor prep with basically nothing happening. Today I decided to do all of them together and add castor oil. The castor oil did nothing to my bowels though I took four tablespoons and my cramps are mostly back pain but it seems to be doing something as I started spotting bright red a couple of hours ago. Praying/hoping this turns into labor tonight but if it takes days I'll still be happy; I'm just so ready for this to be over. And while it would be nice if it didn't happen on my anniversary (monday) the days is pretty much screwed anyway (along with T.G.) so I'll take what I can get. Keep me in your thoughts/prayers please.

Krista, I really hope this is it for you. You have been through so much, and I fully understand just wanting it to all be over. Praying for a quick and easy process with no complications, and that it would be very healing for you.

It's over; mostly at least. Labored for several hours, water broke, more labor, baby emerged feet first and stayed half out for probably 30 minutes, baby came out and then lots of blood with each contraction until the placenta (most of it) came out at least 30min later. I feel okay but definitely a little weak from the blood loss and lack of sleep (we were up until 4). Going to rest and take lots of supplements today. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, I'll give more details later <3

so glad that part is over and you could meet your little one and move forward. You mentioned most of your placenta came out. I know you don't have any insurance but please make sure you have passed everything or there can really be problems. Prayers for you and your family.

The reason I said "most of it" is because it was too tough and curled up to inspect to make sure that it was whole; I probably could have if it wasn't 3am and it hadn't come out in poop water. I am not at all worried about the placenta coming out though, my last full term placenta took 10hrs. I'm a UP/UC'er so I don't usually have anyone else involved with my pregnancies/deliveries anyway. With my last one it took a week for all of the placenta to come out; I labored some each day and passed a bit each day. This time I passed a small chunk tuesday (had her sunday morning) and have had no cramps or clots or placenta since then. I think it's all out now but if it's not I'm confident that it will come out easily on it's own when it's ready. I'm still taking lots of vitamin C though and the motherwort that I'm taking for my stress will help my uterus to clean out too.

Thanks for all the support and hugs and positive thoughts.
