We're in Springfield until Friday and I had planned to take 15-month-old DS to all the great parks to play, but now it looks like it will rain all week! The poor guy has suffered through a trans-Atlantic flight and days of car travel and I really wanted these days in Springfield to be R&R for him. Are there any places for indoor toddler play here? When DD was a toddler here, there was Discovery Zone on B'field and a similar knock-off place on E Chestnut. Please tell me that Chuck E Cheese isn't my only option!

There's a new indoor jump place over off Kansas...Jump Express I think it's called. I also take my kidlets to Bass Pro on rainy days and the museum next door when it's open. There's Incredible Pizza Co. which is a little more tolerable than Chuck E. Cheese. Discovery Zone isn't here any longer, but there is a Discovery Place science-y type museum downtown.

I was being nosey and saw on your blog that you went to Cox College. I'm actually there now and have another year until I'll finish with my BSN.
