Can anyone here tell me how your stacinator wool covers fit, especially on your bigger toddlers? I'm trying to figure out if a large would work for my 30 lb chubby (13+ inch thighs) child. I saw measurements on one site that said the leg max was 13", but I've heard that it actually stretches a considerable bit beyond that. Does that sound right? Does the waist stretch a good bit too? How is the rise? Please help!

I ordered the toddler for my dd to sleep in at night. At the time she was just over 2 years old, and just over 25lbs. The rise is VERY short. I coudln't use it and have it cover teh whole prefold, it always showed through at the top front and back. I tried using the toddler on my 25lb 1 yo recently and had the very same problem (and his rise is smaller than dd's) the fit is defintily not desirable and the rise is most definitly too short. I bought mine new, so I know it wasn't shrunken. The large would no way fit either of my two, the 1yo or the almost 3 yo.

I don't have one bigger than size medium, but as the pp mentioned, the rise is very short. They are very stretchy width-wise, though. I had sizes nb, small, and medium, and always was still on the farthest snaps when he outgrew the rise.

Have you all let Stacinator know? I am sure the owner would want to make adjustments to the sizing if so many people are having issues.

I love my dooderbugs wool covers. I found the mom that makes them on ebay back when my youngest was just a babe and I was looking for an acceptable wool cover that wasn't a stacinator (having already tried and not liked them). They are thin (even thinner than the stacinators!) but work really well, even overnight. I'm glad I ended up investing in a few covers from her, instead of using (and hating) the stacinators fit. I decided against carrying the stacinator in my store after having spoken to several people who experienced the same problem with the rise, which is a shame, since they are pretty nice diapers other than the fit (the material etc)

I have a size large Stacinator Day/Night cover. It is big on my 15 month old 25 pound son...but it does fit. I'm not sure if a medium would be a better fit on him. We don't have issues with the rise of the large (and he has a long rise for his size--17.5-18")

I love my Stacinator Day/Night covers. Both Large and Toddler fit my 30lbs DD, though the rise on the L is too short for night-time now. My DD's thighs are 12.5" and her waist is 20", so she falls into the range of both sizes (with room to spare at both legs and waist).

The Toddler will fit legs up to 14", BTW. The rise (not stretched) of the one I've been using for a few months is 17.5.", whereas the Large has an unstretched rise of about 15.5". They stretch about 3" each. I agree that the rise is a bit short on them, but they have a great leg/waist adjustment through the snaps and the fabric is quite stretchy.
