Yeah, I've completely jumped on it early. Last night was the second night, and honestly, I LOVE it!!!! If for no other reason than I slept so hard last night I actually feel rather wonderful today...LOL!!! Hopefully I won't get bored with it as I've noticed other women further along have gotten.
I think my mind is pretty made up, but I'm having a hard time biting the bullet. I'm hoping to get a used version... and my potential doula (also a friend) wants to go through it with me to see what it's all about. I think it could be a really neat opportunity!
I just ordered mine today. I also got the sleep cd since I've been sleeping horribly. I hope it helps. For those who don't know, if you use the promo code Mother you can get 20%.
I got mine secondhand online, and it's been great. Frankly, if it helps give me the kind of birth I want, regardless of location (i.e. hospital vs out of hospital) it will be worth all the money in the world for me.
I think I'm going to take an in-person course with an instructor, but that won't start until May. I'm a little jealous you all are getting to listen to the CDs already!

Highly recommend so far!!
Did you go through the site that was recommended in the last thread? I'd like to get a second hand set.

My local homebirth group doesn't seem to have any copies around--but they want me to donate mine when I am done with it. I guess it's a write off that way?
I also just started. I am 29 weeks prego!! I have had a bit of a hard time getting to finish my 30 min. sessions, I am a stay at home mom, and a caregiver to my uncle. There always seems to be a need for mom during those 30 min. But I think I am getting a handle on it. I am 4 days into it. I love it!
I think I have a set (person never used it) secured for $60!!!
It is across the country but fairly close to a friend of mine. I'm not going to send money to the seller but rather to my friend so as long as the seller doesn't make a deal with another person in the mean time its mine. I'm excited to try it this time.
I am in Chapel Hill, NC this week anxiously awaiting the birth of my niece or nephew (!!) and my sister just passed on her whole Hypno set.
I have been using the "Eliminate Nausea Now" and"Joyful Affirmations" tracks for weeks with great success (and appreciation!). In case anyone didn't keep up with the last thread, I INCORRECTLY said the cost was $400, but it's $140 and I think my sister said you can email the site admin to see if they have any used sets. Can't wait to start the full program tonight; just started reading the workbook! Yay!

I was just over in Durham this morning. I hope you are enjoying our lovely weather.
Glad you got the whole set! The instructor who I will be taking my class with said she would send me a CD to start listening to once my registration is complete, so I'm looking forward to starting to listen to some tracks. Although to be fair, I downloaded the free "Relax" track about a week ago and haven't made time yet to listen to it.
