Starting from the begining again

OMG I feel like im am going to crack. my black lab is really taking me for a ride. She has alway been challenging. I know its stressfull right now. I have been spending time with her (and our other dog) They both have been stressing me out. But today our lab has started snapping at me again. again. again. this is how our relationship started. she was always trying to bite me. We went to training class, graduated from class . Continue with training at home.
yesterday was the first day she did it. Well I decided maybe we should start cradle and hold again. Now its worse today. I did cradle and hold again when I came home. I also did some other stuff. Sit, & shake. she knows these but we still go over things we know she knows as well as things she doesnt.
Now when I go to pat her she turns around and snaps, no skin contact but Im sure if I was closer there would have been. I swear she also raised her lips at me.

so what is this? her testing me to see how far I will go, she is 16 months now, shes in that testy age. Is she being aggressive towards me. She is a huge bully towards my other dog.

I do NILIF with her but sometimes it just seems strange. I can make her sit before she does everything (or do down) but she just gets the routine and doesnt have any effect on her.

Yikes, I don't know the whole story but that doesn't sound good.

With any aggression my first thing is to check out health issues. Ear infections and for labs things like hips and elbows (although it would be early for these but not unheard of).

What is "cradle and hold"?

its what we learned in training class, where you hold the dog on your lap, and touch them. Its hard to explain. http://www.perfectpaws.com/video/puppy_biting2.html

I really dont know what to do at this point.

Ok, I'm familiar with that. But I thought this type of exercise was meant for little baby puppies, not adolescent dogs. It may be more of an "alpha roll", depending on how it's done...

Keep doing it. Mix it up so it's not always a sit or always a down, or try doing a few commands in a row instead of just one. Add a "wait" (my short-term version of a "stay"). If she can do it without even thinking you need to change things up.
