I have lots of steak leftover from our 1/2 grassfed steer we got last fall. It's been too cold for grilling lately but that's about all we have left. I'm looking for some different ideas about how to cook it. I have all kinds, sirlion, NY strip, ribeye, etc..

Ideas?

We have an indoor grill, but you can broil in the oven as another option. Our FAVORITE marinade is:

1 tablespoon each:
olive oil
mustard
bragg's liquid aminos (a healthy replacement for soy sauce)
rosemary

Mince one clove of garlic and one shallot.
Add a pinch of salt, fresh cracked black pepper.

Whisk together and pour over meat. Marinate for at least 1 hour or longer for better flavor.

It will really jazz up your meat.

Warmly,
I like to pan cook steak, I also only like a little salt and garlic on mine, hubby adds pepper and oregano on his, could do rosemary or thyme or whatever dry spices you have, could marrinate in a dressing or whatever. Get a cast iron skillet as hot as you can (if you were to drip a little water in it it would bounce and splatter and go to steam immedatly) have the steak on a fork in one hand and a little pat of butter in your other, drop the butter, drop the steak in the pan, it will hiss and sizzle, put a lid on the pan and cook just for a tiny bit, then get another pat of butter and get ready to flip the meat. sear that side too with the lid on it. depending on how done you like your meat, may want to leave the lid on a little longer and let it cook more.

you could cut up some and make a stew with tomatos and potatoes.

stirfry some with some veggies and serve over rice.
