I thought they were supposed to slow down this late in the game. Last night, dh and I were watching my belly and it was honestly like babe was having a dance party in there. Someone please reassure me that this is normal and not because of the 1/2 cup of coffee I drink in the morning, and the copious amounts of Halloween candy I had.

Um, I'd blame the Halloween candy Which doesn't mean it's not normal.

My baby had a major dance party the night before she was born. I'd eaten a large quantity of cookies just before (Instinctively carb-loading for labor, we'll say. Which is probably actually true, seeing as I hadn't had all that much desire for sweet stuff before that, and similar has happened immediately before two labors now).
