Just wanted to continue our daily pity party. I woke up this morning around 5 am to pee and had a few little teeny contractions. I tried not to get too excited, but I laid there for the next hour feeling them come and go. They weren't all that painful, but I could feel them. I figure it's probably just warm up... nothing has really come of them. I am really getting sick of being HUGE. I just want to be able to move like a normal human being again.

Still fully intact. I go to see my MW again tomorrow. I think I'll have her check me again just to see if I've made any progress this past week.

Does anyone else feel like they have arthritis in their fingers and wrists? I can't even knit, it hurts so bad

Woke up pregnant AGAIN! I am trying to stay really positive. Sometimes it is hard. I know I have been super busy to have a baby, so now I am just trying to release so it will happen.

I am super emotional today. Irritated & weepy. DH went back to work today & I know he did not want to. We (I say we, but it was DH) spent way to much $$ at conference. That is stressing me out. I need to let it go. We can not get it back. Sigh.

I too, had a few surges early this am that woke me up. Nothing painful but they were there. They came & go but I did not look at the clock to see how long they were or how far apart. But when I woke up this am, they were gone. I had some extra mucus this am, but nothing significant. I started EPO vaginally again last night. I did not do that while at the hotel.

Is anyone considering getting a membrane sweep????? I need to think about that. I am at 41 & 1 day if you go by my first EDD. 40 & 6 days by my 2nd date & 40 & 3 by my last edd. So overdue but not that significant. I will see my midwife tomorrow AM. So having a June baby afterall. I knew I would. I remember predicting 6/4 at the beginning of my pregnancy, but I will try not to focus to much on that.

I am still here too. We have a midwife apointment tommorow, and I think I might have her check me again. I really want this baby to come out, but I will not get my membranes swept and I know that when it is time, this baby will be born. It will probley happen on Sunday, becuase this is the day of dd's ballet recital. So I am sure, becuase I want to go and see her dance, this will be the day. Lets keep it up

Still here.
I am feeling really discouraged. Last night I had contracctions from 10 until about 4. They were 3 minutes apart at the end and very painful. But they weren't productive because of the baby's position. He is still oblique and I had back labor all night. I finally knew that it wasn't doing me any good and I think I just shut down labor mentally so I could get some sleep. Today I have had some irratic contractions most of which were painful. But nothing regular.

This sucks.

I'm still here too. 41 weeks today, yay! Bah

I spent yesterday doing about 3 hours of nipple stimulation with a breastpump - which brought on contractions, but they didn't stick around or anything. Tomorrow I have a midwife appointment and we're going to check my cervix. I have tried feeling for it myself and I can feel it there, so I know I'm nowhere. I just have no hope for this - its going to end up being a c/s next week I just know it. :p

This is my fear too. I am a post myomectomy patient. I have a uterine scar. So far, midwife has not said anything, & perhaps she will not. I don't know. I guess I just have to wrap my head around potentially having a 43 week pregnancy & trusting my body & my baby.

This afternoon, I must look like a hoot! I am tailor sitting on the floor, knitting & doing nipple stimulation (which is bringing on surges), with my mendhi tattoo that I got this past weekend. But if it works, I do not care.
Dh came home for lunch that was nice!! Brought me a carmel frap, I needed that.

Hanging out, overdue in CA!

Hiya mamas!

Well, still here...

butttt... good news....(I hope!) I had a midwife appointment today and she asked if maybe I wanted a check, so I said sure and guess what?

I am 4 centimeters dialated!!!!

I have been having contractions for like a week now on and off and I was getting a bit frustrated because I thought if they weren't doing anything I was gonna be pissed!

I guess they did, because I am at 4 already and she said my cervix is "paper thin"...

She didn't sweep or anything at all, but after the exam EWWWWWWWWWWW (sorry for this lol) but talk about mucous plug.... It had been coming out for a few days but ewwwwwwwwwwww after the check... I know pregnancy is all beautiful and wonderful etc... but cmon, that was really gross....

Anywhoooo...

So she says I am in labor... I thought it would be worse than this (talk to me later)... I am having contractions and they do seem to hurt (like bad menstrual cramps) but they don't seem to be coming at any set time...

Hubby and I have just been hanging out all day watching DVD's and relaxing... I am trying to get some sleep on and off... she *might* be a May baby after all, but since the contractions aren't shaping up so fast, she might not...

I am just happy there is *some* progress... I was so scared my midwife was going to check me and be like "awww, you are only at 1 cm" or something...

Anyway, I'll keep you all posted!

That's great news capt'n! If only I could believe the light contractions I have been having are doing that, but I really don't think they are.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Comon may baby!

Well, I guess I don't want to race you anymore, captain crunchy!! I call a time out! :LOL

I was sitting in my Labor Doula class tonight and got hit with a few good contractions. They been continuing on at around 5-7 minutes apart. Nothing super painful, so we'll see what happens. Either way, it's a June baby for sure! I'm looking forward to my appt tomorrow with the MW, I want some good news like that, too!
