I'm getting really discouraged. :(

I've been spotting off and on this whole pregnancy, usually pink or mucous with red in it. I am almost 10 weeks and still spotting, today it's been almost every time I go to the bathroom and it's darker. I'm having some cramping, but that's been going on the whole time too. Still have pregnancy symptoms.

I was not going to have any ultrasound this pregnancy, but I have changed my mind because the anxiety is eating me up. My midwife is calling the imaging place they use first thing in the morning, they should be able to get me in tomorrow. Please, please send me good thoughts. I was so taken by surprise by this pregnancy, and now I am very scared I will lose it.

Thinking positive thoughts for you mama!

I had tons of painful cramping w/spotting and even period like bleeding until about a week ago when I hit nine weeks and today I found the baby on the doppler so I can tell you from experience bleeding can be pretty heavy with a baby beating away in there.

Hang in there

i have had spotting very much like what you describe and ended up getting an early ultrasound and it found a subchrionic hemorrhage a very small one. had to look at paper from doctor to know how to spell it. anyhow it really gave me peace of mind and i am glad i went in for the early ultra sound i hope you can get the same peace of mind.

still every time i have spotting it is very stressful even though i know what it is now. i am looking forward to baby being big enough i can hear the heart beat with my fetoscope. actually have been debating renting a doppler but think i will probably wait and use my fetoscope.
