Hi,
Over the last several months, we've noticed that DS (2 1/2) seems to have a stinky diaper area (smells like pee) all of the time, even when he's just taken a bath or shower and used soap. It happens whether he's been bare-bummed, with underwear and pants, with disposables, and with cloth. Is there something I'm not doing? He's uncircumcised, and I didn't know if that was an issue at all - no retraction yet. Is there a product I can use to clean him? I usually don't wipe him after pee changes, but maybe I should? And when I do wipe, I just use warm water on a cloth.
Thanks!

Since this isn't really a diapering issue, you may get more help if you post on the CAC forum (case against circumcision).

I would say you may need to "strip" your diapers. If your diapers are not getting rinsed well enough, they may be holding in the pee smell which in turn is holding in your dc's skin. I also wiped my ds after pees. You could also try a "diaper wash"...a drop or two of good baby wash (we use California Baby calming) in your wipe water might help.

IMO, this is not a circ issue at all.
That area is just smelly sometimes any 'ol how.
