So I have my first stinky after washing diaper. It's a fleece aio that had a poopy. I've only used it twice and this is the first time it's dealt with poop. It didn't even sit for 24 hours. I rinsed on cold with 1/4c baking soda. Washed on hot with about 2 - 3 tbs detergent. Rinsed twice. Everything else in the load is clean and smells fresh, but this one diaper reeks.

Is it because it's fleece? Do I need to do something to it? I've read about strippin them, but the rest of the load is fine . . . :

Are you using hot water? I have found that anything with synthetic materials in it needs a cold wash, then a HOT wash or rinse to get the stink out. If you do the hot wash first it will set in the odor more, so do the cold, then the hot. And yes, make sure you are adding enough detergent.

Waaaay back when I had some big fat hemp dipes and AIO's, I would occasionally come across a diaper that would smell weird after washing. I would wash it a few times with my regular laundry. Buy the time I was done, it was fine.
