My son is almost 28 months old. His pee STINKS. I thought maybe it was the diapers but he has peed on the floor a few times and it stinks too. He's not sick at all, no pain, nothing out of the ordinary but his pee stinks horribly. Any ideas?

I also wondered this based on the title alone.

Nope, no asparagus.<br>
Nothing in his diet has changed. It's all very confusing. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/headscratch.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="headscratch">

Hydrated? I can clearly tell a difference in the smell of my dd's pee based on how much she had to drink that day. If she decided she was not thirsty that day (which she does often), strong smell. If she was a good drinker, much less potent!

My 20 month old has the STINKIEST pee, regardless of what he eats or how well hydrated he is. I've heard from a few other moms who have had a child with the same issue.
