OK I have been thinking about my brother who is being sent to Iraq, and I thought we should have a thread where everyone on MDC can share the story of there loved one. If you support the war or if you don't. This isn't about what the Bush administration is doing. This is about our soldiers, the personal stories of the people we know and love.

I will add my brothers when I have a little more time.

My daughter, Joanna, joined the Marines right after Sept. 11. She wanted to protect her family.

She is presently serving in Ramadi, Iraq. She is in Logistics and works in Sadaam's old bathroom and patrols one weel/month.

She is very cryptic about what is going on over there and I don't sleep well worrying about her.
