I have two grandmas both of them in there 90's (good woman genes in the family). Both grandmas live in a small town in Kansas and one of them is not doing so well so I am planning on going back to visit REAL soon. I called the other grandma (Nanna) last night. I was telling her that I was coming in to town and would stay with her while I was there. All she kept saying is are you going to bring thosse diapers. I said yes I will bring my diapers I have to have them for the baby and Kenzie is still wearing them at night. She said oh I just love looking at thosse beautiful lil things. I can't belive thosse women spend money on thosse paper things to throw away when they could have such beautiful diapers. Then when I was saying good bye she said "Now don't forget thosse diapers" I think she is more excited about seeing the diaper stash then us. :LOL

That is soo great! ANd :LOL about them being more excited to see the diaper stash than you guys! I've accepted the fact that my family is more excited to see my kids than me when we go home, but I don't know how I'd feel if they were more excited about the diapers too!

I love the granny stories!
My granny is 82 with hardley any wrinkles ( she says it's the olive oil). I saw her on Mother's day and she loved Lauren in cloth. She was so excited that I was using cloth and wool. She said the same thing "How can people afford to keep a baby in thoes paper things and just throw them away"? She even gave me her old yet awsome sewing machine to sew more dipes because she loved my velour ones so much!
My granny rocks!

aw, how sweet!
She sounds like one awesome Nanna!!
My Sister in Law is pregnant (brothers wife) and my mother has her sewing machine out and sewing a whole stash for her. I just happened to tell my mom about OV and OC ... yeah.. spoiled baby .. at least i get the hand me downs. My mother is more excited about the cloth diapers than *I* am (and i got her convinced to use them in the first place)
That is so cute that your grandma loves your cloth diapers! How sweet.
