I know I know, not EVERYTHING is food related, but because of DD2 my mind just goes there, so its worth a shot to ask here....

DD1, who is almost 3 and has no KNOWN food allergies, has a rash on her bottom, only its not like a regular diaper rash, its way up by where the tag might be on your underwear, in round blotches of raised red bumps on both cheeks. I can't find ANYTHING on google about this specific rash of course

At first I thought it might be a reaction to the "tagless" printed tag on her new undies (because dumb mommy didn't wash them before the first wear), but its still there and they have been washed at least 3-4 times by this point. She also wears pull ups to bed, so I thought maybe a reaction to those, but it seems like it would be over her actual diaper area where the pee was, right? She sleeps on her belly so the place where the rash is is actually usually dry.
Could it be a food allergy? I wouldn't even know where to begin on that. She had a HUGE yeast problem before potty learning, but that seems to be under control now and again, the rash is not on her genitals at all....she does have some behavior issues and some night-waking but I don't think I could link it to any one food....
Any ideas? Any other kids have a rash like this? She doesn't have eczema either, but thats what it looks like to me (DD2 gets eczema on her face, and the rash is similar...except its on DD1s bottom
)

How long has she had them?
They sound almost like bug bites, which would be possible if it was in the space between her tops and her bottoms.
It could be food. Maybe you could start a food journal, without eliminating anything, to see if you could figure out the behavior issues/night waking though.

I seem to remember an issue with the tagless Carter clothes that was in the media. Where the tagless tag was actually had some sort of chemical that was causing burn-like rashes.

Info here

So it may be that she is actually reacting to the tagless material?
Try switching undies for a couple of weeks and see if it improves maybe.
