I had this dream two weeks ago, right before my 20-week level II u/s.

First, some background: Ever since I first started telling people about the baby, their guesses had been that it is a boy. My mom. My favorite aunt. My elderly neighbor. Those fun tests you see on the net that base a baby's sex on the Chinese calendar, a mother's appearance and habits, etc. But more importantly, my regular u/s at 18 weeks concluded boy.

Now for the dream: I am in a kitchen (not my own), and there's a little pantry below a set of cabinets. I think to myself, "This is so clever! No pain, no blood." I open the door, and find a person crouched inside. I pull the person out so I can take a better look.

When I do look, I realize the person is a pretty girl about sixteen years old. She's wearing a pair of oversize glasses-- this upsets me. I ask her if she needs the glasses, and she says that she doesn't, and that these actually belong to her grandmother. And so I ask her to take her off, and I am happy that she's absolutely perfect.

Then she says to me, "Well, I should go back in there now. I'm not finished yet." And I tell her that there's no reason to do that, since she's standing there in front of me fully grown.

A few days later, the u/s tech and doctor told me that they think I am having a girl...

Has anyone else had a dream of what your baby might look like at any age, and, if so, did the dream end up strangely accurate? Just curious.

Wow, that is so interesting!! Wonder how true it will be??

I haven't had any dreams like that, but with this PG I had a dream I gave birth all by myself to a beautiful baby boy. It seemed so real, it was almost freaky!! Don't know which baby is, since s/he was being shy at the U/S. We'll just have to see!!

I had a dream a week or two before my u/s that I was swimming in my parents pool and gave birth to a little boy. At that time we were battling it out over names, but I called him Scottie (and I HATE that nickname!) as he swam to me in the pool. He was definitely older, at least a year, and most definitely a boy named Scott...which I have!

Cool dream!

When I was pg the 1st time, I had a great dream.

It was the night before we were scheduled for the 20 week u/s. Up until that time DH and I both assumed we'd have a girl. Dunno why, not an instinct or anything...
:

Well, the night before I had a dream that I was standing looking at a HUGE aquarium, only this one did not have fish inside, it had babies. All of them were swimming around and laughing and playing with one another. While I was standing there a doctor came over and said, "There's your baby," and pointed to a specific swimmer. This baby, who was swimming away from me at the time, was absolutely a boy, and I said, "no, that's not my baby, I'm having a girl." To this, the doctor said, "oh, no, that's yours, right there."

At that point I woke up and KNEW that we were having a boy. I'd never had any kind of dream like that before, but in my heart I knew that it was my way of knowing that I was having a boy before technology could tell me.

More than 7 years later I can still close my eyes and see the aquarium and the babies and 'my swimmer' going by.
