<b>Mamas! Do you have any strange pregnancy rituals?</b><br><br>
Ok... so I have a few, but to get things started, I've been wrapping my feet! Rather, DH has been binding them for a while each night in fabric- it feels really good. Don't tell anyone, k? It's not the stretch marks or the weight gain that's concerning me as much as my little feet getting bigger!<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
Is anyone else practicing strange beauty treatments or odd daily rituals? (hope it's not just me<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"> )

When I was TTC I got a little red Japanese good luck cat. Red is for children and childbirth. No luck the first month of TTC, but for the second I put it on the bookshelf next to my bed. Suddenly, baby is on the way. Now, not only can I NOT move it to anywhere else (even though it's in the wya of the alarm clock) I just have to touch it before going to bed each night.

When we were TTC, a friend of mine whose husband is Ghanaian gave us fertility dolls from his home village that were used when they concieved... I have the same feelings about those dolls too! I am going to give them to the next friend I have who is TTC, with the message to pass them along after.. they will have eventually been there for many, many conceptions.
