please, someone, tell the stinking stagehands to quit their strike tomorrow. I rarely go anywhere but I'm meeting a friend who is a musical freak in NYC for 4 days. She just broke up with her boyfriend and is quite depressed. Now, no musicals. This is just not her week! Please tell them that it would cheer her out of her depression if she could see some shows!!!!

Here is a list of shows on Broadway where the workers are NOT striking!
(They are under a different contract.)
http://www.broadway.com/gen/general.aspx?ci=556326

I think we are going to try to see Pygmalion and Mary Poppins. I'm hoping that everyone else doesn't have the same idea too so there isn't any seats.

She was so looking forward to "Grease" after watching the reality tv show of it last winter. (and me too!)

She just told me she scored some tickets to "Regis and Kelly". It won't be Regis, but David Decovony (?sp), so that should be fun!

It's a thought, but our hotel is right on Broadway so we wouldn't have to worry about transportation issues. We're from small towns and aren't used to navigating.

When I read the title I thought you were commenting on a really, really attractive person who helps put together stage shows. Forgot about the strike, sorry about your friend
