So I use pockets and my dipes looked sparkly. Yes, sparkly. If you were to look at one really close you could see all these little sparkles. So I figured it was residue and I'd strip them. So far I have turned my hot water heater all the way up and have used Sensi Slean, Dawn, Calgon, just washing until all the suds are gone, and the dishwasher (which takes FOREVER). Still have repelling. What am I doing wrong?!?<br>
For my regular cleaning I use Charlie's, but that was after I partially stripped them about 6 weeks ago (before used Allens and Tide, figured they were the residue culprits). I have hard city water so I use Calgon. I do an extra rinse at the end. I'm going back to the basement to do some more very hot rinses. ANY suggestions would be helpful!

I live in a city with hard water, too, and had good success with vinegar in the first rinse.
