I've been checking for suds (I'm on the third rinse right now) after I fill with hot water and let the machine agitate the dipes. Or should I be checking during the final rinse?

Also how much suds is too much? Should the water be absolutely sudsless or is a few bubbles ok?

I'm using only calgon with each new cycle. Anymore tips, please! I'm still fairly new to the world of fluff.

TIA

you should check for suds in the rinse.

One thing I found really helpful with my thickest diapers, was to do a small load of like 4 diapers at a time on the smallest setting in my washer. Add a bit of calgon and let it rinse that way. My washer aggitates better with a small setting (not sure why, but so does my mom's and the people I used to babysit for) so the suds get out quicker.

If you are having to keep filling the washer and rinsing a hundred times (btdt) then you might want to consider doing that.

Make sure the bubbles you are seeing are in fact soap bubbles and not just oxygen bubbles from the water. To do that, stop the washer...wait a second, if the bubbles dissapear quickly then they are just regular water bubbles....if they stay longer and look like soap bubbles then they are.

You don't want any bubbles left, but it won't kill you if there is one or two (or a half dozen) remaining.
