Well, finals are around the corner, (some of you may be done) and I'm struggling to stay focused. Is there anything you do to help stay on task? Would you care to share your study tips and/or various other ideas?

Thanks, and good luck!
I'm really bad too... I think that preparing for finals is a semester long ordeal. I try to make sure I really pay attention when in class and take notes on the things that the professor is emphasizing. I also try to figure out what my professor's angle is... like if I can 'think' like them, then I can do better. I then review my notes, go through any chapter summaries, go through what I highlighted in the book, do any end of the chapter questions, go through any questions that are provided throughout the chapters.

As for staying on task? Ugh. I struggle. I try to become very engaged in what I'm doing. If I'm interested, I can go forever. If it is a subject that I just can't do that in, then I set time limits on how long I can study and how long I can take a break. Also, I try changing environments, like to the coffee shop or whatever.

Good luck! I have finals next week too.
Finals...the bane of my existence!
It'll soon be over, but that's a small consolation prize for the pain and suffering I'm about to go through...

To get ready I have a study group for one of my classes that I meet on campus twice a week and then for the other classes, I just read the material, go over my notes and I'll also be meeting with my professor before the test. I only have two finals this semester, so that's good, but I still have finals!

Good luck to you two...
