Hey ladies-
I'm pretty new to CD but I love it.
Here's my question...
I've been stuffing my DC's Happy Heinys with 1 microfiber towel and 1 hemp (I think it's a doubler). That's been working. I'm wondering, though, if I can just use 2 microfiber towels and save some $$. Would that work?
I just don't want to end up with one soaked little boy!
Thanks
Chrissy

It can work.

Just keep an eye out for how much he's wetting and how often between changing. (meaning, if you have to change every hour instead of 2(for example) you might not wanna go that route.) I bet 2 would work great though especially if the hemp is only a couple of layers

I like prefolds the best since they are cheap and absornbant.
Yep! I recommend an old washcloth in pocket diapers for newborns. I've used just about any kind of fabric that absorbs... old towels, microfiber towels, prefolds and flats (my favorites)... Just about anything works.
