I'm making one of those over-sized kids chairs and I'm trying to stuff the pillow forms. How do you stuff them without things looking uneven or bumpy? Anyone have experience/advice?
The best thing you can do is to be.. umm... fluffy about it. Don't take a huge wad of stuff and stick it down in there all balled up. Pull it apart and fluff it in. The less you wad it up, the smoother it will be when it's done.
I saw on a decorating show to pull the stuffing apart in small pieces before stuffing it into the form, and to sort of 'sculpt' it as you go... filling in the lumps with more stuffing.
