Amen. That was my feeling. The bottle and paci seemed to mean that the boobs were not for nursing. Whether it was pro- or anti-bf, it seems in very poor taste either way.

I wonder though if it's meant to be anti-nursing? It may have been meant to be positive, but someone screwed up, maybe? I'm just trying to give the benefit of the doubt I guess, because that would really suprise me, since it's amazon and not someone's cafe press or etsy store, that there would be blatent anti-bf products.

Is there somewhere specific I should e-mail to ask

ETA: I just e-mailed the customer service center. I wonder what the response will be...

I've noticed that Amazon seems to be more of a clearing house for merchandise rather than an actual seller, kwim? I've ordered things from there that came up under Amazon but were sent by individual stores that had absolutely nothing to do with Amazon (other than perhaps having to share a percentage of their profit with Amazon for being listed through theri site) so it actually is a lot like Cafepress, etc.
If you click on the ArtApart link (the seller) you'll see a whole bunch of printed t-shirt merchandise.

Product Description
Nursing Sucks - A Great Play on Words for those faithful women who give 24 hours a day.

From the product description is sounds like it is supposed to be a silly tribute to nursing but the people do not have a clue about nursing from the pictures.

Hmmmm... I thought I remembered seeing a pro BF t-shirt that did say something along those lines, but this wasn't it. Besides not really getting across a clear message, it is just plain ugly.
It looks like all the seller's t-shirts are unattractive and stupid. I don't mind the knocked up one though, as I jokingly referred to myself as knocked up throughout my pregnancy (planned, and after we were married). As the daughter of a woman who was "knocked up" twice during the sixties and seventies, and suffered the social consequences for it (including having a nurse threaten to have her thrown in jail for being pregnant and unmarried), I try to take back that word and use it in a positive way.

Personally, even if pro-bf, not a store I'd like to buy from.

Wow, those are classy

I e-mailed Amazon and told them my thoughts, which were that I had seen that phrase on items before and found it funny, but with the image of a bottle and pacifier it seems anti-breastfeeding and I found it to be quite offensive. But that I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in that they (the "artist") may not have been aware of the message they were sending with that image.

They replied, stating (and I am paraphrasing here) that they were sorry that I was offended and they act as a host for others to sell product. They would send along my comment to the company producing the tee-shirts to make them aware that I and others were offended so they could look into their merchandise. Interspersed throughout the message was the reassurance that Amazon was not anti-breastfeeding, that they valued me as a customer, and one line applauding me for being passionate enough about breastfeeding to bring this to their attention.

I think Amazon's response was positive. I wonder now if the "artist" will get the message and, uh, give a flying

Yeah I would guess anti-BF too. I'm not sure what the "artists" intentions were, but it sure is a stupid shirt. It so random and strange. I'm not really a fan of "witty" t shirts/onsies on my kid anyway, but some can be funny. espcially some of the ones at www.wrybaby.com It seems like this person it trying to be witty and clever, but it's really not working for them at all.
