Hi, I'm 4 weeks pregnant. Recently, I started noticing many cavities and tooth decays. This situation is giving me a lot of stress and I'm seriously getting conscious with my food intake. Does anyone know what should I do, I'm also scared of visiting a dentist in this pregnant situation. Please can someone help me?

Dental problems during pregnancy are normal and visiting a dentist is totally safe. Cavities can be prevented by maintaining proper oral hygiene. I suggest using fluoride-containing toothpaste and mouthwashes helps to reduce tooth infections and decay. It is better to consult and check with your dentist soon.
