I didn't really have much swelling with DS but this evening, as I was cooking dinner my right foot and leg suddenly felt...different. I looked down and I swear, I was watching it swell before my eyes.

Should I be concerned about this? It was so sudden and it still hasn't gone down. My pulse is very slow, so I don't think it's blood pressure...what else could have caused it? I haven't been THAT active today.

Get off the computer. Lay down and put your legs higher than your heart.

Then, Mark it down in a journal with the date, time what leg, exact appearance, to give to your care provider next visit.

Could just be pooling fluid....slow pulse = Sluggy circulation.

Just lay down with your feet elevated....make note of it, and just watch your protein output a little more stringently.

And EAT more protien too...Dr. Brewer was on to something..

I've noticed my legs begin to swell up in the past couple weeks too. I've found that contuing to keep active and doing leg lifts definitely helps me to ease my swelling. Not even a lot of leg lifts just do a few sets a day and it really helps-if you liek doing that kind of stuff. Hope yours gets better

Hey guys, I wore socks the other day and had sock lines for hours after I took them off. My acupuncturist added just one needle to the area while I was having my carpal tunnel treatment and by the time the treatment was over...I had the skinniest ankles ever!
Amazing!
