I just got my new SP's and they are indeed gorgeous!! I pre-washed them for the 1st time and I noticed the serging around the diaper is not very close together and I was wondering if they are supposed to fray? It's worse around the wings and better by the legs. Will the fraying stop at some point? They almost look like they are falling apart... It's odd because I had a growing greens that didn't have a lot of threads coming loose around the edges.

Also wondered if babes usually go from the tiny size 1 right into the jumbo size 2? It's quite a jump! I still love them though and can't wait to use em on the new babe coming any minute!!!

Thanks for the tips on this ladies! I have 2 darling dipes that look to be the same stitching width but I haven't washed them so I'm not sure if they'll do the same. I am tempted to use that dritz fray check to stop it before I wash them a second time. I can see how too many stitches could cause the fabric to weaken esp. if you're pulling on the snaps right by the stitching. It is wooley nylon thread so I guess I am way too observant.
