The baby finally arrived on 12-12 and at 11 pounds 13 ozs. I need something that will fit now.

Anybody use Daisy Doodles on a babe this size? I don't know if I want Med. or smalls. Smalls are up to 14 pounds and M are 12-12 pounds. I don't want them to be big but I don't want them to be small either. I need them to fit.

Any suggestions for holding in the bf poo would help. I have 9 small fb's and 10 prefolds and about 13 small peewell fitteds, which I love, but they fit on the last snap and are snug around the legs I had no idea he was going to be that big. Poor baby he doesn't even have a name yet.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is one big baby! I hope you can figure out a name soon.

I second the Muttaqin suggestion. They fit great and are readily available. http://www.muttaqinbaby.com/

You might also look into side-snap SugarPeas. They seem to fit pretty big. A small should fit your guy for a while.

I just wanted to sympathize, not 11 ; but, I've got a chunk who's legs I'm trying to fit too. She grew out of her bittybuns and I saw some small and med overlap. I am liking the fit of the Tykies med I just got, now pref hidden snaps tho. Didn't get a chance to snap up the size 1 SP. Congrats and I knowabout the scramble to get more dipes. She did at least let me have some PP recovery before she started bustin out of the smalls I had gotten.

Congrats mama!! I hope your all doing well. Personally I'd get meds. My DS gained over a lb/wk the first couple of months so he was in smalls for all of about 2 wks.

The Mutts are awesome and really fit pretty darn trim on my DS when he was 12lbs. and I'd still like the fit now at about 22lbs.

This was EXACTLY what I was thinking!
As far as dipes, I'd got w/ mutts too. They are wonderfully absorbant. We get a weird fit w/ them right now (as we do w/ most front snaps) but they are still great dipes

Congratulations! Wow! You are quite the woman to deliver a 12lb baby at home.

What about Bikini-cut Cuddlebuns? www.little-fishy.com I love the way they fit and I will be using them from birth with my next baby. I know they are internal soakers but I really don't find that they take any longer to dry.

Congrats again!

WOW! Way to grow a healthy baby! And, congrats on #8! You could just go with that... Eight. Or Elliot the Eight. Or what about... Henry... Henry the 8th? It has a nice ring to it! :LOL

Ok... I'm all about the DD!!! YAY! There is no AIO that is trimmer or works better than that one!!! I'd e-mail Christa directly. She's so wonderful! Personally, I'm thinking to just go with the Meds because, if he's this big already, I bet he'll hit that 12# mark really soon. They're all trim. When going up in size the biggest difference seems to be rise. And, rise on boys seems to be best higher. So, I'm leaning towards mediums for Henry.

Huge congrats mama! Awesome work on that baby. I know nothing about DD (and I don't really need a new diaper to be trying to snag right now so I don't want to look into it either. :LOL) I think a Sugarpeas size 1 would accomodate your babe really well and keep in those bf poos. We liked them at that size too and they last a good while.

Go with the mediums! Don't even waste time on the smalls.

Can't wait to hear the name too! : congratulations!!

Oh... and might I suggest going all PUL? The prints are cute, but not always as reliable. Ooh, and get some doublers for long car rides.
