Hi. Does anyone have suggestions on how to attach a twin size bed to a queen?
Our queen is suddenly feeling tight. My thought is to turn the queen sideways so that we are sleeping widthwise instead of the normal lengthwise and then attach a twin widthwise at the feet so that the bridge between the two mattresses will be more at our knee level. We have a 14 month old and I don't want to take any chances with the mattresses separating. Are there things I can buy to connect a queen and a twin (if yes, what) or should I just not strap them at all? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!
we have a queen/twin combo, on box springs.

we pushed the queen against the wall and pushed the twin right next to it. we have a bed rail on the outside of the twin.

we push the twin mattress firmly against the queen and then push the bottom of the bedrail down into the lip of the twin box spring.

we've never had any mattress movement.
