Does anyone know anything about sun painting or sun dying?

Klutz sells a kit for sun painting. I love the effect and would love to do some prefolds and other clothing with sun paints, but I can't find anything on this technique other than the Klutz kit. Has anyone here tried it? Any ideas on where to get supplies? Is it color fast or not good for prefolds?

Anything??? Thanks!

Setacolor textile paints are quality paints that many use for sun painting.
Though textile paints can be used on items that will be washed, they are not fade resistant like Fiber Reactive dyes. You can thin them and apply them in the same manner as dyes for tie-dye. Thinning them will also give them a less stiff "hand" on the PF's than if they were unthinned. Remember that even after you have set them in the sun to dry and make your sun prints, you still need to heat set the paints. You can do this by ironing, place a piece of newsprint between the iron and the fabric and iron on a low setting.

Anyways...hope that helps
