I'm looking for a sunblock/sunscreen to use on my acne-prone skin. Any recommendations?

Have you considered titanium dioxide in the form of a tinted moisturizer or mineral makeup? I personally use Juice Beauty's regular and tinted moisturizers. They DO leave your skin "shiny", so a little powder over it helps. I have been using a mineral makeup (bare minerals) for 7 years, and it also has titanium dioxide in it for a natural SPF. Know that natural SPF's will usually leave you looking shiny, but not oily, so if you want a more "matte" look, you'll need to use some powder over it, but avoid talc if you can. I use the mineral veil that comes w/ the bare minerals makeup, and it masks the shine from the titanium dioxide pretty well. I don't use it sparingly like they show, and it helps keep the oils down too.
I hope this helps! I have sensitive skin, and had BAD acne before switching to mineral makeup. I've only recently started using Juice Beauty skincare because my friend told me about it and it's organic, so I jumped on it. It's NOT cheap, but it's great quality. They make a "generic" version of it, sold in CVS called Juice Beauty, and it's a bit cheaper, and fewer ingredients. Look on Ebay for deals too.

Oh! And one more thing...............if you are curious to try any of the products, you can have them tested on your skin if you live near a Sephora, AND they will give you a few samples to take home to make sure you don't break out more. Keep in mind that sometimes your skin "rejects" new products, and might need a week or so to adjust to something new. That has been my experience, but you may be different.

Tell me more about this "generic" Juice Beauty! I use some Juice Beauty products and love them, but OY, the price!!!
: You say it's also called "Juice Beauty"?

To the OP, I also rec. mineral make-up, but I prefer more natural brands than Bare Minerals. I like sheer miracle and everyday minerals
The SM ones aren't shiney at all and EM has a few formulas that are not shiney too. For more SPF protection, check out UV Naturals. It is greasy but absorbs well and there isn't anything in it that should clog pores or promote acne. I was having skin issues due to an unfortunate experience with Mirena
: and the UV naturals didn't iritate it.

Thanks for the recommendations. I bought some Afterglow mineral makeup a couple months ago but the shine factor emphasized the small bumps on my forehead. The reason I sought it out is for the SPF. It sounds like it might be worth trying another brand.
Sorry, the CVS brand is called Juice Organics. Ooops!
