Ford Motor Company Supports Homosexual Marriage Movement<br>
Dear Rhonwyn,<br><br>
You are probably unaware that Ford Motor Company is a major supporter of the homosexual movement, including homosexual marriage.<br><br>
From redefining family to include homosexual marriage, to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups and their agenda, to forcing managers to attend diversity training on how to promote the acceptance of homosexuality, to sponsoring a “commitment (marriage) ceremony”, to sponsoring Gay Pride Parades, Ford leads the way.<br><br>
To let you see Ford’s support, we developed the BoycottFord.com site.<br><br>
I urge you to take action today. Sign the petition to boycott Ford. Call your local Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Volvo, Jaguar, Mazda and/or Land Rover dealer (all are part of Ford Motor Company) and inform them you will not be buying a Ford product until they stop their promotion of the homosexual movement and homosexual marriage.<br><br>
Be sure to forward this information to your friends and family. They will be as surprised as you to learn of Ford’s extensive promotion of homosexuality.<br><br>

Yay this is finally up! Whew, it takes awhile to get these things vetted.<br><br>
How does one boycott the AFA? They don't sell a product per se. I try to do the opposite of what they are advocating for. I know that when they had a really hateful poll up on their site one time, they got inudated with people from the opposition posting on their poll.

I got a very nice email in return from Ford about how they were dedicated to supporting all their employees and customers by not discriminating for sex, religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.

I wrote but haven't received a response yet.<br><br>
It just chaps my hide that the AFA is basically saying that homosexuals can't be members of a family. I know they (the generic "they") are pushing to get family unit defined as FatherMotherChildren, but what about all those families who have dependent grandparents, dependent siblings, single parents, grandparents raising grandkids, same sex couples, and partnered (not married) couples?<br><br>
When I worked at Amazon.com they had "domestic partner benefits" and I thought it was wonderful. Is there a list somewhere of companies that provide domestic/same-sex partner benefits? I think supporting the companies with your dollars is the best way to counteract the AFA's mission.<br><br>
I bet the AFA has a list........I'll go check.

I'm sure there's much more on the list of boycotted companies, but I only got through the first few pages before I felt like uke<br><br>

(I almost traded it in for a Ford Freestyle which is also built on a Volvo platform)

I received this today from the AFA:<br><br>
AFA suspends Ford boycott for six months<br><br>
Dear Rhonwyn,<br><br>
Following a meeting with a group of Ford dealers on June 5, AFA has suspended its boycott of Ford Motor Company until December 1, 2005. In the meeting, the dealers asked for time to see if the concerns raised by AFA in their boycott announcement could be addressed by them in cooperation with officials from Ford Motor Company.<br><br>
AFA felt that the dealers were making a good faith effort and agreed to accept their request. Therefore, the suspension request was accepted by AFA. During the remaining period AFA will work with the dealers in attempting to resolve our differences.<br><br>
We urge those supporting the boycott to disregard the boycott until December 1, 2005.<br><br>
On or about December 1 we will notify our supporters as to status of the boycott.<br><br>
Thanks to all who contacted their local dealers. Your involvement made a difference!<br><br>
