I'm a little bummed out (no pun intended, lol!) I've been on the quest for the perfect diaper for my dd - I want very trim ones b/c she has delays and just started walking last month and don't want anything hampering her walking skills, lol! I got a bunch of Daisy Doodles, but she's now a heavy wetter so we can only use them at home, w/o pants, w/a doubler, and change them every hour tops.

Anyway, I love pocket diapers (she was in FB's before) and heard about how trim Swaddlebees were. So I ordered two.

They are trim, almost Daisy Doodle trim! And the insert's great, it's a quick drying one. However, the size is a little off. My dd's in the 50th percentile for weight at 26 lbs and 36 inches tall, and wears a L in most other diapers. These barely fit her
With her Beccabottoms, the snaps are on the first settings, with lots of snaps to go. With these, they're nearly on the last settings.

And they don't make an XL. sigh.

We love our Beccabottoms pocket dipe, but we only have one. Hopefully there will be more in tomorrow's stocking. And I have a couple others coming from another WAHM site.

My DS wears L swaddlebees on the smallest snap setting he is also 26 lbs and 35 inches tall. It always amazes me how the same diaper can fit so differently on kids that seem like they should wear the same size. Sorry they didn't work for you, hope you find some more becca bottoms soon

Thanks. Maybe my dd is just a little on the hippy side - like her mama :LOL

They really are cute diapers, and they were very friendly with me when there was a problem with color selection, so I would totally recommend them.

My DS is 24lbs and has 11" thighs and a 17" waist, a medium Swaddlebees fits him on the tightest snap setting. A large would be way too big on my little guy, which is weird because I really thought that the medium would be too small.

It's really true that all diapers fit all kids differently

yup, they're sized a bit small in my opinion

my ds fits into a medium FB on the second tightest thigh snaps and the tightest waist snaps, and I couldn't squeeze him into a medium swaddlebees. He is 22 lbs with a 17" waist, and he's in the size large on the tightest snaps.

My DS fits into a med fuzzi bunz on the same snaps but he wears a medium swaddlebees on the tightest snaps. So weird because our DS's are about the same size

I almost wonder if that first medium swaddlebees I had was a fluke

I bought it from another mama who bought it off ebay before swaddlebees started selling in online stores. She assured me that it was the same size as all the other mediums she had, but it didn't seem to match the measurements on the website

I'd love to try another medium sometime, but I can't afford to pay $20 just to try another medium one right now
:

The large is a bit big on him. Especially in the rise.
Here's a pic...

Hmmm...I just got one today for my son. He wears a size Large FB (but they are starting to be too big on him!) and the Swaddlebees fits him really well on the middle snap setting. He is 32 pounds and for the FB he has it on the tightest waist setting and middle leg setting. I think the Swaddlebees fit him great for waist, thighs and rise!

I finally caved and ordered one from JamTots which was partly funded by winning the Easter Egg hunt. And I even found an Easter Egg still there while looking for the diaper hunt. Too funny! Anyway, I really hope it fits DS as nisely as on the website!!

No - I mean, I noticed that the crotch area was much narrower - and I was looking for trimmness like that. That's not the problem. It was the hip area where it runs small for my dd. I was actually so surprised at how it fit at the waist that I checked to make sure it wasn't a medium. Also, I had to tug it down around her bum a little, but my Daisy Doodles also need that action :LOL

Okay, so out of curiousity, I held them up and stretched them around my size L Daisy Doodles - they're a teensy bit wider in the bum, but same trimmness in the crotch area. Maybe I just didn't put these on right or something with dd, b/c the DD's fit just fine (of course, they're also front snapping, and these are side snapping, so that can make a difference I guess.)

Well maybe when she outgrows these, they'll have start making an XL
