I didn't think to take pics of the inside etc. etc. that everyone else did with their diapers
before I shipped it. I feel lucky to have gone to the p.o. all by myself!

that looks so darn cute!!

i couldn't quite tell... what color velour is on the inside? and is that your own pattern or one you got? either way it looks soooo great!!
Thanks ladies!,

The velour is royal blue, there is also a layer of hemp fleece in the body of the diaper and in the doubler. I used the very baby fitted diaper pattern for the diaper. I made two diapers like this to make sure one would turn out good enough to send, it is really cute on my dd!

Thanks,
Sarah
Cute! I looked through your album and you have some other really cute diapers, too!
all of your things are adorable! I love them! how do you make a changing pad?
webjefita, for a changing pad I cut out two co-ordinating fabrics two pieces of cotton quilt batting 13x25 inches. Then I make a fabric sandwich:

Fabric-right sides facing
Fabric-right sides facing
cotton batting

I then sew around leaving a 6inch opening in one end for turning. I sew it together with the batting down(against the feed dogs) or it gets tangled in the presser foot. Then turn and topstitch, I use a decorative stitch around the edge. I also sew two seams to divide the pad in thirds for easy folding.

I have also made changing pads from 2 layers fleece and 1 layer co-ordinating fabric. They are easy to make. I like to make them to match my diaper bags. I have way too many diaper bags!!
