I bought some sweet potato seedling, but can't fit them all into my regular garden. I have a plot that I had cleared to grow wildflowers, but the birds ate almost all my seeds. The soil isn't the greatest, because I have never used it or worked wtih it before. I am wondering if the sweet potatoes will be OK if I plant them there. I have never grown potatoes before, so just wondering what to do.
