What are some sweet things your other child(ren) has/have been saying about the arrival of their new sibling?

Last night my 3.5 year old daughter informed me she couldn't wait for her sister to come so that she could "tuckle her into bed."
And she's becoming so impatient for her to get here, asking every day if today is the day Alena is coming because she wants to be a sister NOW!

We were lying down together yesterday and I was just looking at her face, remembering when she was a baby and how everything will change for us after a week or so--was hit with a little bit of sadness over her not being an only any more. We have such a symbiotic relationship that parts of me don't want anything to change. But she's so excited about the arrival and I think it will be a smooth transition for her. it's a very special time!

My ds is still very attached to my breasts, although he has been weaned for more than 6 months. From time to time now, he gets a naughty grin on his face and sticks a hand down my shirt, then just touches a breast and reminds himself aloud that "Mama's bobos make milk for the baby," and then he'll put a hand on my belly and say in his friendliest voice, "hi, baby!"
We've looked at books with pictures of "babies coming out," and he asks me if baby can come out yet...now I am explaining that baby will come out when there is snow outside.
I think, too, that he'll take this transition better than I will. I am so terribly in love with my son. I am ready for this baby too, but I am grieving a little about the changes to come. I wonder whether this next baby will have the same strong 6th sense, the same empathy.
He, on the other hand, seems to look forward to helping with diapers, and snuggling, and touching baby's cheeks.

Our infant carseat is still sitting in the living room, waiting to be put inside the car. This morning ds (age 3) was standing by it talking softly right after his dad left for work. I listened, and he said in a soft, gentle voice, "daddy went to work. it's ok baby, mommy and ethan are here" then he told me that "the baby" needed me, and handed him to me. Then he put "the baby" in my purse.

My son is only 16 months old and doesn't talk a lot. He is just now noticing tha mommy's belly is changing.

But last night he scrunched down in my lap and laid his head on my belly as the baby kicked his face. he just smiled, laughed, leaned back and something in jibberish and put hi head back on my belly. He lay like that for about 15 minutes.
