I'm having some pretty major swelling in my feet and legs. It seems early (11 weeks) don't you think? My doc didn't seem too worried about it. I feel fine though. Anyone?

How is your diet? Are you getting enough water, exercise, etc? I would be worried too but if the doc isn't I guess you shouldn't be.

My diet is pretty good. I gave up my best vice right away (diet dr pepper, and I sure miss it). I'm working on getting more water and less salt. fried foods make me feel sick so fast food is pretty much out too. I did a bp at the store the other day. The first reading was worrisome, but after resting a little, the next reading was only slightly elevated.<br><br>
I just wonder what I'll do when I can't wear sandals. December in Mn Brrrrrr!

That doesn't sound normal for this early in pregnancy. If it continues I would push the issue with your doc and maybe get a second opinion. Do you swell like that when not pg?

Found this:<br>
"Clothing that is loose around the waist and legs is more comfortable and does not restrict blood flow. Wearing elastic support hose, resting frequently with the legs elevated, or lying on the left side usually reduces leg swelling and may ease the discomfort caused by varicose veins."<br><br>
