and it was sooo refreshing! I waited until now because previously I was diagnosed with a complete previa & now it's just a low-lying placenta. It's 1.5cm away from the cervix & they like it to be at least 2 cm, so I'm going for one more ultrasound in a couple of weeks to check...but even if I end up as "high risk" my midwife & doula will accompany me to the hospital and do all that they can to ensure that I get the natural birth that I want...I asked about delaying the Hep B & she said they *actually recommend it*- so refreshing to be on the same page (!)
They have a great birthing library there, so I borrowed Ina May Gaskin's Spiritual Midwifery (I just finished her other book)
The midwife was wonderful~ she's delivered over 4, 000 babies (!) and just got back from Guatemala where she does work in rural communities, she has a lot of great stories
She said the baby is transverse right now & suggested that I do inversion exercises (just lying with the feet higher than the stomach, and the stomach higher than the chest) for 20 minutes a day to encourage the baby to move into a better position. Is anyone else doing this? I would think it's still kind of early to be worrying about it?
Thanks for reading!
congrats!!!

if my midwife told me that, i'd take her advice, but mix it with my own instincts. if i were 31 weeks, i'd probably wait till closer to 36 before i encouraged baby into a head down position, but that's MY instinct because i've had a 33 weeker. i don't want this baby getting any ideas.:

she's had 4000 babies??? sorry, i'm just used to saying catching when refering to what midwives actually do.
