So how have you guys all been doing with your symptoms?

I'm feeling a LOT less nauseous although it does come and hit me every once in a while.

I am still about as moody as I can get though. (Doesn't help that SIL is in town this week)

I've had some ligament stretching that my mw tells me is probably because this is my 2nd child.

Can't think of anythign else right now... oh, yeah, did I mention pregnancy brain

I'm mostly not nauseous, but I think, the same as you, it creeps up on me on occasion, like when I have to use Port-a-Potties (GAG!!!!If it's not what's under the seat, it's the chemical smell...)

I feel pregnant, like pregnant with a baby, not just hormonal. My belly is sticking out, and I'm actually starting to walk differently. Sleep is less comfortable already.

And I get tired....things wear me out faster...

Chronicly low patience, but also a sense of inner calm.

And I second your pregnancy brain!!! Big time!!!

No more nausea!!! (I'm sure the porta-potty would make me gag, though!
)

More insomnia...not sure if this is because I'm still taking an afternoon nap, though. Mostly it's the usual kind of insomnia I get when there's something big going on and I can't stop thinking. Two nights ago I tossed and turned for two hours until finally I HAD to get up and dig out the photo album of DS's birth. Right after he was born they had to whisk him over to the warmer and suction him because he was not breathing right (meconium in amniotic fluid and they thought he had breathed it in), but I was SURE they had brought him over right away and let me hold him skin to skin and nurse for about an hour. Suddenly I began doubting this--I was worried that they had not given him back to me until he was all dressed and dried off, and I was practically ready to call the birthing center and get all pissy! Then I see the beautiful photographs of me nursing my naked bundle and feel just silly. But I could finally go to sleep!

So maybe that's pregnancy brain, too! I'm on summer vacation right now so aside from being a SAHM for the summer, I haven't had to keep too complicated of things in my brain. I start back to work teaching next week, so we'll see what a space cadet I am. I remember from the first time around doing some really wacky things and having my students just give me that look that says, "Can you really BE that scattered and be in charge of us?"

sorry to ramble on...
sometimes I can't shut up!

I only get nauseous if I drink something that I know won't agree with me, like milk, soda, or Kool-Aid. I have no trouble avoiding Kool-Aid because that's nasty, but sometimes I crave chocolate milk or Pepsi. Then I spend the evening hovering over the toilet

I get worn out really easily these days. I went to the grocery store and had to take a 2 hour nap afterward! I have to nap every day after work or the kids can't stand to be around me.

I have to get up about every 2 hours at night to pee. Ugh, I miss getting real sleep. I guess this is my body's way of preparing me for life with a newborn.

Oh, and I can't remember anything. I'll go into the kitchen to get a glass of water and come back emptyhanded, etc. Highly annoying.

My nausea is pretty much gone, though every once in a while something doesn't agree with me, though it's more about texture (can't eat mushy things) than taste. But even then, I just gag, no more throwing up.

I thought I would have a sense of inner calm when I was pregnant, but so far (even though I'm going to yoga) I'm just kind of irritable and short-tempered...lovely attributes in a pregnant lady.
:

I definitely get up several times a night to pee, and feel like I'm going every half hour or so during the day, too. And I'm not even drinking as much fluids as I should be because they kind of don't agree with me.

I'm still pretty tired most of the time, though I'm OK if I get 8-9 hours of sleep and take a 15 minute nap in the afternoon (which I usually don't get to do, but really wish I could).

So that's me in a nutshell - an ill-tempered, gagging, sleepy, pee-machine...good times.

I'm doing pretty good!
My hips and knees are really aching. I actually took Tylenol last night because they hurt so bad.
: I slept for the first time in weeks!

I just started feeling real movement yesterday. It was a suddent flip, like the baby rolled over. The first non-fluttery movement! Yeah!

I am tired and moody but much better than in the first trimester.

I am only getting up once to pee now! But I know that is only temporary until the baby weighs more

Doing good, really, can't complain!

Nausea is better, but I still need my meds to not throw up
:

Definitely a little more energy now. I can cook a whole good made-from-scratch meal if I get in the right mood. Tonight I made herb roasted chicken, mashed red potatoes, and mixed veggies. My DH was being so sweet I made a pumpkin pie (his fav) for dessert. Used a pre-made whole wheat crust for it though- I so don't have the patience for pastry!

I LOVE feeling the baby move. It usually goes through 3 definite "activity" periods a day. I love this stage because it finally feels like I'm getting rewarded for all the first trimester junk!

Definitely another pregnancy brain here as well!

So when I started this thread, I forgot about my most noticable symptom- VERY sore nipples!

My 33mo is still nursing and sometimes it is so incredibly painful that I almost can't stand it. I'm glad that she's been cutting back at night, but still...

My symptoms right now? I'm suddenly getting much more hairier. Well, not just new hairs, but the existing hairs I have are getting longer, and more noticeable. I have this one chin hair that keeps coming back. I never had that before.

My nipples are much larger now, and a little darker. And, TMI, but I've become extremely engorged... it feels like I'm walking around with a pair of testicles between my legs! HIGHLY annoying.

I still have that aversion to chocolate most of the time, and lack of appetite.

I've been feeling really good except for:
-backaches (particularly after going for a walk)
-needing to pee pretty frequently, but thankfully not as much as I used to
-gagging on my horse pill aka prenatal vitamin and other not-so-pleasant tasting substances

-aching feet (see the first one)

My husband has felt the baby kick him in the back when we've been snuggled up in bed a couple of times over the last week or so.
