Tags right on the stinking front

Why do companies put their tags right in the front and center on these diaper wraps? I know they want their name out there, but it's such an inconvenient spot.

I blew any hopes of reselling mine and cut them all off today!

Well when you need to pull the wrap as tight as it will go, you have to lift up the tag each time.
I wonder where you think the tags should go. I put mine on the wing opposite the side with the cross over. I put them on the outside so the wont scratch babies, and i dont put them in the back so it wont effect the elastic. I am sure alot of other WAHMs would have the same thinking.

I will admit i read these boards in part to make changes to my items, and if something is really annoying to some moms, if I do that,m I will consider changing it.... Thats why i ask... maybe for help in making the product more likalble( not that i want to have hyena status,... seems stressful LOL)
Hmmm, I like them on the outside. I like being able to easily identify what diaper I'm grabbing, and I like the fact that the mamas who make them are proud of their products and wan them shown! Several of ours have different placements and I don't find any of them inconvenient. Like loveybums who sews them all the way around in the middle of the wing so it's not a hangy tag , or Muttaqin's are on the wings. I think they all think about where they think the tag fits best to avoid it bothering baby. I would rather move a tag out of the way than scratch my babe with it

I need a visual

But if you need to move the tag for the diaper to function, I can see how that would be annoying, lol!!

I was just wondering what diaper it was? Maybe one of us has the same one and can tell you if yours is just sewn slightly off?
I like tags on the outside back. I don't mind them on the front though. :LOL
Lemme guess, Bumpy covers....am I right?

The ones on Bumpys get me too, soooooooooooo annoying.
Tags that are sewn all the way around (like how Loveybums does their tag on the left wing and its flat) are the way I prefer them. I hate how Bumpy tags are, so that only the top edge is sewn on and it curls up and gets in the way.

Loveybums actually has that on the back too but I dont feel bad cutting that one off because it tiny and they still have the tag on the front.

i completely agree. when we did our DD's 6 month pictures i had a heck of a time finding an AIO or cover without a tag right in the front. just not what i want to see in a picture like that.

i do like how sugarplumbaby's tag is in the back and how beccabottoms and babybloomrs are inside on the wings but not touching the baby.
YES! Bumpy covers. Exactly.

(Nikky's too, but I looove my Nikky's. Cut those suckers off and no worries

I dislike tags alltogether and I even dislike sewing them on more! :LOL
I've never had a tag affect performance. The ones that annoy me are the big squares smack on the front of the dipe, under the wings for total visibility. I've passed up dipes for that very reason. I don't buy my older kids tshirts with brands smeared across the front for the same reason. Just one of my personal hang-ups, it bugs me

The Swaddlebees tag annoys me. I mean, it's this HUGE square right in the front and they're such a low rise that it makes the tag look even bigger. I don't mind Fuzzi Bunz and haven't even noticed the ones on my Beccabottoms. Daisy Doodles are thinner and on the back, less obtrusive. Angel Wraps is also a good tag example in my book - you don't really see it when the diaper is on the child.

I think tags are good so you can be certain your getting the brand you want if you're buyng used, but like someone said, if you want pictures in the diapers, you don't want a big old tag in the way.
It took me a couple of reads to figure out how the heck the tag was getting in the way, LOL. I didnt realize there was anyone who sold diapers where the tag wasnt sewn all the way around (besides kissaluvs which are on the back)

ETA: front tags are for branding... you want it to be easy for someone who sees a picture of your diaper to know its yours. That is especially important when so many diapers look the same from the front, side, etc....
I like tags that are sewn flat all the way around. I don't care where they are placed if they are like that.

I like them sewn all around too. I love the Swaddlebees tag and location

Oh I need tags to remind me what kind of diaper it is - I would never remember when reselling otherwise. If a tag is sewn all the way around, I'm happy. Other than that, I could careless.
