My reason= my 21# ds is as light a feather in my Ergo....

My ds's reason=He loves riding on my back playing with my ponytail

My dh's reason=he thinks he looks cool

Very nicely made, too.

The Ergo is my total workhorse carrier! I love that I can wear DD front and back COMFORTABLY. It is sooo great to not feel sore or achy after wearing my one year old for awhile. My dh, who's a chiropractic doctor, tells everyone this is his favorite carrier. And oddly enough, it's the only carrier I can nurse in comfortably and not mind when dd falls asleep.

We went hiking and had both the Kelty and the Ergo. Well needless to say, we wish we had left the big-bassed (and expensive) Kelty at home.

Love the padding, love the support, love the price, love the critter print, love wearing dd in it-- just plain LOVE LOVE LOVE it

Am I enabling you enough??

I totally agree. We have used our Ergo all over the place; I don't know what we would have done without it. Like you (OP), I have many different carriers. After all that, I just go back to my maya wrap and my ergo. They are the best!

I would love to talk you into one, but I sold mine. Being larger chested I couldn't nurse in it without contorting my body. That and I had a hard time clipping the chest belt in the back to wear her on front.

i'm a diehard fan. it is great. my 21 month old loves it and it is still comfy to wear her for hours on my back. i truly believe the best carrier combo is moby wrap until they are about 8-9 months (or around 18 lbs) then ergo all the way. my almost 5 year old can still ride the ergo and it is comfy (altho not for as long as is comfy with younger dd). it will be money well-spent, in my opinion. i didn't buy mine but got it as a gift. i think i would say the money evenout of my own pocket would be a great investment.
