Hi everyone,

I'm looking for something for the very newborn stage (I'm not expecting a preemie). Are preemie prefolds worth the investment for those early weeks? If so, what kind/brand do you recommend. Is there another option that is good and reasonably priced?

I have a few newborn fitted dipes (about 10). I want to wait until the baby hits size one to invest in any more fitteds and/or AIO's because they are tiny for so short a time.

Opinions, please?

Infants'll fit just fine. You might have to fold down a bit for the length. Or you can get a few and trim them (like on diaperpages.com), but if you did that you couldn't use them as long so maybe only do it on a few. Or just fold 'em down if needed. I really am loving our prefolds.

Infant pf have worked fine for all of the people I know who cloth diapered - but all of them had babies who were at least 6 and a half pounds. You just fold over part of it for a week or two and then they fit great

Thanks, ladies. I may still pick up a couple since they were only $1.33 each and use them for doublers etc. later on, but I won't be buying dozens of them.

BTW--none of my kids were under 7lbs 6oz, so I think the nb size will be fine as well.
