Is there a such thing as a liquid prenatal? I'm thinking that a liquid wouldn't make me as nauseous. I feel nauseous all the time, but so far the only times I have actually puked were right after I took my vitamin. Right now I'm taking the Rainbow Lite 1 a day. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We normally make protein shakes and use a liquid multi, liquid mineral and CLO, plus some other stuff. I'm not a big fan of the "whole food" powder that my DF uses, but I can normally stomach it down.<br><br>
The brand we use is Marine BioTherapies, I think... Yeah, these:<br><a href="http://www.marinebiotherapies.com/liquids/seaelements-silver.html" target="_blank">http://www.marinebiotherapies.com/li...ts-silver.html</a><br><a href="http://www.marinebiotherapies.com/liquids/multivitamineral.html" target="_blank">http://www.marinebiotherapies.com/li...tamineral.html</a><br>
We can pick it up at WF for about $30 a bottle, or through a Frontier Co/Op for much much less. One bottle is... I'd say.... about 2 liters and a serving is 1 oz, so it'll last awhile.<br><br><br>
I hope you can figure something out. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"> A smoothie might help.

Is your prenatal high in iron? If so see if you can find one w/o it or w/ a lower dose. Iron can make you possitivly nausous.

I'm taking uber-B vitamins for morning sickness, and calcium in chew form already, so to avoid the prenatal = barf equation I'm taking children's flinstone's chewable vitamins rather than prenatals. I have to watch my Iron, and might add a supplement in the second trimester, but I'm feeling way less barfy than last time when I had prescription prenatals.

I took the Rainbow Light prenatals before I got pregnant and had a really hard time digesting them, so it may just be that brand doesn't work for your body.<br><br>
I went back to the New Chapter prenatals and have been taking them ever since. I'm about 5 1/2 weeks along and I'm not having any problems with them, but I have been taking them on and off for years.
