So, my son (almost 8 months) is EBF and I am due in June with baby #2. DS nurses a LOT so I am pretty sure he isn't going to wean himself before Baby X comes along, plus he will only be 13-14 months so.. yeah. But, I am SO nervous about tandem nursing. Nursing with Trevor hasn't been easy, we had latch issues and he still feels the need to nurse every hour or 2. Will that slow down? How will I handle nursing 2 babies? I don't want to force him to wean, but I am scared crapless. Any BTDT mamas with some encouraging stories?

I tandemed for 6 months with my 2.5 yr old and my newborn. It was a good experience for us. I think it helped with jealousy. However my older dd did pick up to nursing more than what she was while I was pregnant. I had to limit how much she nursed because she would nurse more than the newborn if I would have let her. It wasnt too difficult, but make sure you are getting enough calories
