Taste of Garden of Life CLO

Just cracked open my first bottle of this stuff. It's great! I really love the lemon/mint flavor. And, really, no fishy taste at all.

The mint however prevents it from being put into orange juice.
I'll still keep the few ounces of juice in the morning, as my incentive for taking CLO. It's worked wonders to keep me taking it.

I just thought I'd let you guys know, in case someone wondered what it tastes like.

That's good to know. I just got some today. I was going to order from Green Pastures or RadiantLife, but my HFS was having a sale.
Wish I could agree with you. I had to suffer through a whole bottle just so it wouldn't go to waste........my dh and dd wouldn't touch it. I don't prefer the regular fishy taste of unflavored CLO but I seem to be becoming immune to it.

I also chase mine with a little bit of evil pasteurized juice. It the only way for me!
yeah, at first i thought that lemon and mint together would taste awful but it's surprisingly nice.
i also like Carlson's lemon but i don't think that's a WPF recommended brand.

This is great to know, as I'm getting ready to purchase some CLO. It's all on sale at my HFS right now and I was checking out what was available. It looks like Carlson's, Garden of Life, Nordic Naturals, Twin Lab, and Health from the Sea PFO CLO. I haven't purchased yet because I thought that the Vit A to D ratio is supposed to be 10:1 and several of the brands had different ratios. How important is that ratio? Twin Lab is 10:1, as is Health from the Sea I think. The others were all different. I'm just not sure how to sort all of this info out!

Nora'sMommy, I'm so sorry to hear it didn't work for you!
I hope you've since found a brand you can live with.

momto5girls, I did Nordic Natural for a long time because it came highly recommended. I had a stash from when the HFS had a sale that I just finished off. I switched to GOL because the WAPF recommends it. I think the high vitamin content will help me more.

Yes, the ideal A to D ratio is supposed to be 10 to 1; however, a lot of companies simply add synthetic vitamins back to the CLO, and no, they don't have to state that on the label.
